My solo show, "Light and Shadow," opens today at @havengallery. Here I am cradling the largest of 12 pieces in the collection, which I think represents the heart of the whole. The collection follows woodland creatures personifying the human condition and personal narrative in a post-pandemic world. One where we welcome residual haunts of solitude, loss, and struggle with the understanding of nature's inherent cyclicality. Where there is darkness, light is soon to follow and vice versa, over and over again. A balancing act of opposites denotes the possibility that both can exist in every circumstance, simultaneously, always. In the darkest of times, may we be a little easier on ourselves, knowing, that light is and always was, here and now.✨
