Down the river. There is something incredibly mesmerizing about watching a river of molten rock flowing at night. The drone gives me another perspective that helps me understand what is happening at this place where the earth spills its guts. While I flew I could feel the heat on my skin, sitting on the hill, watching the fountain and river of lava explode in front of me. None of it makes sense and still can’t wrap my head around it, but it is beautiful.
