thought of a genius concept: swedish/australian identical 20 something twins, one blonde, one brunette, making “alternative” pop music, kind of like if kylie minogue fucked enya and did too much blow. they’re mysterious, appearing in self indulgent and gratuitous music videos that often include too many references to foreign film that will be funded by one too many fashion campaigns HOWEVER they are NOT models. you might think “style over substance” but that would make the girls very upset because they’ve read a lot of alan watts and noam chomsky. the band is neither here nor there which creates an elusive allure that makes up for the fact that their musical output is much too sporadic and inconsistent. thoughts? photo by @petenikolai
