As @ProductionGuild Patron, The Earl of Wessex visited @mamayouthproject at Sky Studios today to learn more about the charity, which trains and supports young people from under-represented backgrounds to succeed in the media industry. Mama Youth is one of four organisations shortlisted for the inaugural Earl of Wessex Award. This new award in His Royal Highness’ name was created to recognise those working in the UK film and TV industry who have created a successful way of inspiring local talent, widening access or promoting diversity and inclusion. The Earl of Wessex Award winner will be announced at special Production Guild of Great Britain Talent Showcase next week, on Tuesday 24 January. @6ftfrom, @ukfullyfocused & @resource productions are nominated alongside Mama Youth.
