oh gosh where to start and why only ten slides?! Mick + Miranda got married last year in a three-day adventure in Zion National Park, and asked if we’d be down to photograph their honeymoon too (which we gladly said YES to). We didn’t know at the time that they’d pick such a wildly beautiful, absolute dream destination. Namibia. Arid, hot, otherworldly — and my favorite landscape we’ve seen to date. I’m still processing the experience and we have so much work to share. And wow, the trip felt too short. I could photograph those dunes every day and never lose interest. another fun thing — these two wanted to surprise each other with outfits for the session in the dunes. So we coordinated with a Pinterest board, they each sent me their ideas for the other person, and we helped piece them together to compliment each other without spoiling the secret. This hand painted @leannemarshallofficial dress paired so perfectly with his linen outfit and the blues contrasted perfectly with the warm tones in the landscape. honeymoons are fun. No stress, no timelines — just celebrating with your person and wine with a sundowner every night 😉 take us back, please.
