Some of you may have noticed that I’ve used a certain photo as my professional headshot for the past decade. One part of it was because @mellylee_ made me look way better than I actually do. The other part of it was because I was never happy with my present self. A lack of self-care, a sedentary lifestyle, and bad habits did a number to my health. Last weekend, I accepted it was time. I stepped out of my comfort zone to update my online persona. What started as a photo shoot turned into a video shoot (it’s a lot easier to pull good facial expressions when you have 60fps to work with). So here is my modest attempt at embracing my current vibe. For the record, I don’t think I’m cool. Candidly, this video experiment has served as further motivation to continue on my health journey because I want to look and feel great. Special thanks to one of the most talented creatives I know, @askyeff, for taking the time to shoot this. Only you could make me look cool somehow.
