Last night (Wednesday, August 24, 2022), The Shins wrapped up their two night stand in New York City with a sold out show at Brooklyn Steel (they also performed at a little known venue called Radio City Music Hall). The Shins are touring for the 21st anniversary of their debut album, “Oh, Inverted World” (released on @subpop) and were supported by Joseph (@thebandjoseph), who also performed background vocals with The Shins. In 2004, I saw The Shins perform at a very small venue (Mercury Lounge) under a fake name (Roland, OK) so finally capturing photos of them nearly two decades later was a real nice treat. It was also nice to see Danger Mouse hanging out in VIP too.
