last week to see Smadars room at @liebling_haus ❣️ The exhibition is based around my debut film, which traces a week in the life of seamstress Smadar during the busy days that approach the Passover Seder. Her home seems to have a revolving door through which everyone in town comes and goes, while she herself drowns in an ocean of colorful plastic bags, stuffed with clothes for repair. Smadar wraps her loneliness with sassy humor and piles of fabric, which stand in her way toward honest relationships, acceptance and healing. The installation presents a series of photographs along with everyday items from Smadar's hoarder-like home, shoved into a tailored plastic mattress and pillows. A place for rest 🛏 It started in long distance form as an imaginary render between @frankayzenberg and @felixrsf__ and me — but made real in Tel Aviv where i spent a week in the space building it with the help of magician @giliofir Thank you @michal_sever @koral_dvir of @kama.fanzine for inviting me into this special space❤️ and Smadar for continuously being the river ⛲️
