[ EXHIBITION - LAST WEEKS ] Fashion correspondent for influential magazines such as Vogue, Glamour and Women’s Wear Daily, and newspapers such as The New York Times, the American photographer and journalist Mary Russell—who was also a photo stylist for Helmut Newton, David Bailey and Henry Clarke—not only captured the spirit of the international bohemian elite that ruled the world of Parisian fashion and art in the 1960s and 1970s, she quickly became one of its key members. In this exhibition and the accompanying publication, she shares with us never-before-seen photographs taken during this captivating period during which she navigated the worlds of luxury, nightlife and the ultra-private worlds of fashion designers. Her photographs immortalized legendary figures of that era, including Yves Saint Laurent, Jane Birkin, Karl Lagerfeld and Andy Warhol. Summoning her memories, Mary invites us to relive her adventures and learn of the myriad personalities she spent time with. . Elle nous livre, dans cette exposition et dans la publication éponyme, les photographies inédites prises au cours de cette vie captivante pendant laquelle elle a navigué dans les mondes du luxe, de la fête et des sphères très privées des créateurs. Ses photographies ont immortalisé des personnalités mythiques : Yves Saint Laurent, Jane Birkin, Karl Lagerfeld, Andy Warhol... En évoquant ses souvenirs, Mary nous invite à partager ses aventures et les récits de ses rencontres. .
