It’s Dr Carter from now on! 😅 Jokes aside, I’m still in shock and I am honestly truly humbled and honoured. Imposter syndrome instantly kicked in when I received the news that I’ll be receiving an honorary degree- I’m too young, I feel like I haven’t achieved half as much as the usual recipient. Why me? It took a while, but I think I’ve finally accepted that someone believed I was worthy. For that I am thankful and feel very privileged. I hope to always inspire people and to be deserving of such honours as my life continues to evolve... as I believe I still have so much more to give!! 👩🏾‍🎓✌🏾🖤
