I lost everything after the @shambalafest closing ceremony 😂😭 all I wanted was to sit and gaze at those two beautiful trapeze artists with my lover and my friends and laugh and cry together, but my phone was with them and I was alone. When the ceremony finished, the crowd got up and began to move again. Suddenly, I felt very overhwlemed and a bit freaked out. Masses of unfamiliar people moving towards me. No contact, no friends and no way of contacting as I do not have my friend's mobile numbers etched into my brain (I should probably memorise some of my close friend's numbers)! So, with tears rolling down my face I took off my shoes, sat cross legged, hands in prayer and did all I know how to do. I began to quietly "om". After a few oms, my breath calmed, my body relaxed and I overheard someone say @tankandthebangas are playing at the main stage... I wondered if maybe all the people I loved would be there too. My barefeet knew exactly what to do 👣. I just began to ran and ask strangers where the main stage was. As I got closer I began to dance. The crowd was so easy and generous. There was no pushing or shoving. The pathway was clear!
