The number 3 question I get a lot from artist is about this ⬆️ My answer is “know your temperatures, understand your pigment type and add insurance”. 🥶🥵Temperature of your pigments should always balance out (cool & warm equals a neutral color). Never give any client a straight cool color as it will ash out, always warm them up. * always remember that all pigments cool down a bit once it enters the skin due to blood & oxidation. This factor should always play into your decision when choosing your pigment. 🧪 Knowing the difference between pigment types will guide you to thinking ahead of how the color will fade over time. With Carbon fades cooler and Iron oxides fade warmer. You cannot go wrong when choosing your colors with this simple formula.
