Alcohol-free Rose Geranium Tincture, Mixer, Syrup or as the herbalists call it: an Oxymel. 🍯🌿🏺 RECIPE: • Herb(s) of choice. Try savory sage and ginger or garlic and onion for immunity. Or, floral rose, lavender, geranium. Aromatics like mints are awesome, or holy basil. Select for flavor or function or both and go with a blend or just one at a time. You can even add citrus juice or peel if you like. • Wash, chop, add to quart sized mason jar • Fill with 1/2 vinegar (your choice but white or ACV is generally best). • And 1/2 raw honey. Sugar also works but let’s start here. • Stir, cover, store with wax paper under the lid to help prevent rusting • Allow to sit for a week, or several weeks. The longer the sit the stronger the medicine. • Strain, store refrigerated for up to six month, aim to use it up much sooner. • Excellent in teas, cocktails, desserts, by the spoonful — and for getting herbs into children’s mouths/lives. 🙃 Lmk how this recipe makes you feel pls. xoR
