April 4th is International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action. Yesterday I made a speech that was played virtually before the UN. I may post this later; but most moving, was the keynote speech by @gilesduley , photographer and landmine survivor. Speaking with emotion and without sentimentality, he spoke of the bravery of landmine victims and survivors. This tale of a mother and her child in Mosul moved me to tears.
