Always rad hanging out on the east side. Lots of sun, good friends, and classic boulders. I first climbed the famous @chris_sharma line ‘Mandala’ twelve or so years ago. Unfortunately a lot has changed to the line these days but the beauty of it remains the same. Watching the first ascent of this back when I was younger was extremely inspiring. Then watching @tonylamiche doing the first ascent of the sit start was mind blowing. It’s funny these days I know, because people just run up these things and barely blink an eye. Though I like to remind myself of when, how, and who pioneered some of the amazing lines we climb on today. Massive thanks to those who not only had a hand in establishing this beauty, but for also implanting a memory when I was young that I’ll never forget.. and inspiring me to push myself, travel, and see new places.
