On this weeks podcast I speak to @jackdaverooke about his PLETHORA of turds. It was tricky for him to choose one because his life has been peppered with them, but I’m so so glad he shared his thoughts and feelings around grief and loss with me. There is a beautiful chapter in his book called The Statue and I got Jack to explain this to me in our chat. I’ve never heard anyone describe that pivotal moment of grief and trauma in such a perfectly sad way. I honestly believe that there must also be a 23 year old Kris statue somewhere who is moments away from a cancer diagnosis. Living a pleasant innocence and free of some of the heaviest thoughts imaginable. Like Jack, I will endeavour to visit her more. Have you listened to this episode yet?
