The team may miss the playoffs, but their wine program is leading the league. In 1977, the old Candlestick Park became the first MLB ballpark to offer in-stadium wine service. Now, they’ve brought on Evan Goldstein as the first-ever Master Sommelier for a professional sports team. Goldstein’s duties with the Giants will include the following: ▫️Handling wine tastings ▫️Facilitating wine pairings ▫️Assisting the ballpark with selecting wines ▫️Curating other wine-related experiences for the Giants community ▫️Working with current and former Giants players either involved in or interested in becoming a part of the wine industry ▫️Exploring wine-related opportunities for the club
