Three years ago today—just one day after the El Paso mass shooting and one day before the seven-year-mark of the Oak Creek mass shooting—nine people were shot and killed, and 17 more were wounded in downtown Dayton, Ohio.⁠ ⁠ Among the victims was the perpetrator's brother, Jordan Cofer, a 22-year-old trans man, who news outlets repeatedly misgendered. ⁠ ⁠ Today, we’re holding the victims and survivors of this tragedy in our hearts.
