My solo exhibition ‘Gallery For Scale’ is opening at @tthq.rotterdam this Friday from 5pm. I’ll be showing my new work ‘Set Piece’ amongst two other (new!) works. Set Piece is a 1:1 scale replica of a fireplace containing imitated brick, marble and concrete all made out of wood. The simulation is partly burned away after the theatrical set piece is used as an actual fireplace, highlighting the contrast between the simulation and the actuality of the material.
