My favorite new Thai spot in NYC right now! From the team behind Pure Thai Cookhouse comes their upscale Tribeca restaurant—menu leans heavy on fresh seafood & steak. I went seafood all the way. 🦐 Ceviche Shrimp 9/10: Big, fresh, juicy shrimp with garlic, chilies & orange. Skip the chili if you can’t handle heat—sauce already kicks. 🐟 Whole Fish 10/10: Perfectly grilled, tender, juicy, not over-salted. Reminds me of grilled fish I’ve had in Asia—so fresh I could eat it every day. Green sauce? I could drink it. 🍜 Pad Qua Talay 7.5/10: Drunken noodles with shrimp & squid. Fresh seafood, sweet notes, not spicy despite roasted chili sauce. Surprise romaine in there. 🍮 Panna Cotta 10/10: Dense, creamy, real vanilla bean specks, tangy mango sauce. Not too sweet, exceeded expectations. 🍹 Thaibeca 7/10: Spicy first sip, then balanced. Spirit-forward; wish grilled tomato & cilantro came through more. Décor: Eclectic mix: patterned tiles, wildflowers, mounted fish, and a giant cow head over the bar. Quirky charm. Highly recommend if you love Thai flavors, ultra-fresh seafood & a little quirky charm. Price-to-quality? Outstanding:freshness, execution & portions make it a win. Overall: 🐟 Food: 9.1/10 🛎️ Service: 9/10 🪞 Decor: 6.5/10 📍 Teakwood Thai Chophouse: 345 Greenwich St, NYC . . #nyc #thaifood #fish #seafood #newyork
