The Millers staked their claim to Twins.com so early (1995) that they actually got it for free. It was the era of Internet land grabs when all one had to do to rope off a URL was be the first one with the impulse. Back in 2015, the brothers claimed they had received offers as large as $750,000 for the domain. It is unclear exactly how much Major League Baseball paid to finally secure the domain, but one could assume it is somewhere between $500,000 and $1 million... This wild story finally comes to an end.
