A very successful private celebration of me and @occupiedbythelense exhibiting work at 30 Fenchurch street.☺️⚡️☄️☄️☄️ We are so deeply grateful to @artiqgram @brookfieldproperties for commissioning this exhibition and bringing it to life so beautifully beyond what we had expected! At the event we were able to celebrate ourselves and how far we’ve come, we also spoke around the inspiration of our work and its roots. We’ve had so many positive feedbacks from the black people who work in the space and how it made them feel seen and a part of in an area that is predominantly white upper class male demographics. The exhibition has been such a testament not only to us personally as artists but to every POC artist out there who are infiltrating and presenting more three dimensional stories of people that look like them! The sky is the limit for us. And on that note Happy international day of the girl! - if you can dream it you most definitely can achieve it.❤️❤️⚡️
