I want to give some insight on what the past 11 days have felt like for me. I have gotten some questions about it so I wanted to share. So for the past 11 days I have been performing in Funny Girl without a day off because of the holiday schedule. That within itself is challenging and exhausting. We are all tired so if you are seeing @funnygirlbwy just know we are pushing through some real exhaustion to give you a wonderful show. But wait, there’s more! Lol ON TOP OF THAT- for me as Assistant Dance Captain- I had been in rehearsals before each show with our fabulous replacement and @cbcoasters, every day, getting her ready to make her Broadway debut last night. Did I mention with no days off to rest and recover? 😅 On top of trying to sleep and take care of Leo. Haha My days were running LONG!! 🤪 I am in love with my job and so grateful! I am also just shocked at what we are capable of when we are put into challenging and hard situations with the right mindset. I try to show up with a smile and give people a little more grace because Broadway is hard yall!!. I just know this is preparing me for something great. I will be ready. Honored to be on this journey and can’t wait to have that glorious day off on Christmas!
