Support Our TGNC Neighbors This #GivingTuesday! In the spirit of the holiday season, #GivingTuesday is a national day of giving back to the causes that mean the most to you. We hope you will choose to give to The Transgender District today in honor of #GivingTuesday! Your support allows us to create radical change for our Trans and Nonbinary neighbors by fostering a safe environment which celebrates, empowers, and stabilizes our community in San Francisco’s Tenderloin. As we close out the year, we are proud to share some of our accomplishments that have been made possible because of you: We enrolled and graduated 7 aspiring entrepreneurs through our Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program We enrolled 10 BIPOC San Francisco-based artists in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Guaranteed Income for Artists Program We hosted two of our Name & Gender Marker Change clinics We hosted our annual Riot Party during San Francisco’s inaugural Transgender History Month We provided professional development support for 3 individuals through our Social Justice Fellowship Program We co-led a public health activation for Monkeypox vaccination pop ups in the Tenderloin We hosted 6 activations for the Black Census Project nationwide And we launched the Guaranteed Income for Transgender People (G.I.F.T.) Program! With your support, we are leading the way to provide innovative solutions for our community by creating an atmosphere that celebrates and affirms the ongoing presence, resilience, contributions, and culture of Transgender people in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood.
