This tiny purple flower may not seem spooky at first, but it’s hiding a murderous secret...
Littering the pale green leaves of the butterwort plant are tiny insects, slowly being digested in thick, sticky juices. Anything unlucky enough to land on the enticing buttery leaves will instantly be stuck, and struggling is futile as the plant begins to dissolve them into a nutrient soup.
So tell all your hungry insect friends to beware... or they may become the meal!
