Your arm & body position dictates a lot about how your stitching will look. If you ever wonder why your stitching looks different than what you see from your mentors and inspo accounts you follow then keep watching! First up - look at what holding your arms low and pulling your stitches tight by drawing your hand down toward the floor does. If your stitches resemble “w” or upside down open boxes then it most likely has to do with low arm position. Second - watch what pulling stitches straight out over your shoulder does. This “H” shape is telltale for body arm positioning and stitches that are pull back over your own shoulder. Lastly - the perfect blanket stitch.
