That’s what happened to me when I booked Showboat at @lincolncenter. Sometimes you walk into a room, sing your ditty at 12p and they call you at 5p. That’s what happened when I booked @wicked_musical. Sometimes you get 4 callbacks for the Broadway show, don’t book it, but you book the tour. That’s what happened to me with @bwaycolorpurple. There are even moments where you audition for a COMPLETELY different show but casting believes in you so they call you anyway and you get to make your Broadway debut from a straight offer. That’s what happened to me with @waitressmusical. 🌺: Oh but there are some moments that you have to survive. There are some shows that put a demand on your patience. There are some moments of anger and confusion and discouragement that you have to work through to keep pushing. They don’t force you to bloom; they just wait until you do and then say, “Yes. Now, you’re ready.” Y’all, I’m SO READY! See you on the road. @hadestown has been on my vision board since 2020 when I didn’t even understand why it was there. When I called @cgftalent and I TOLD THEM that this was my show. Now, 2.5 years later, @rachel.chavkin said, “You’re so talented.” and I could’ve crumbled. I knew. I just knew.
