Animal Year: works in fabric by Jacob Berendes (@lilchamp__) will be the next show in our exhibition space opening Thursday October 6th! This is the end result of a year-long project, in which a unique stuffed animal was made every single day, even when the task was miserable, the energy was off, and the artist wanted to go to bed. Jacob Berendes is a multi-media artist whose work examines institutional forms from an individual perspective. Former projects include a newspaper (Mothers News), a storefront (HBML), and an artists residency program (CTRI Innovations). Animal Year is the one that's a toy company.
