✨Montessori potty learning does not happen overnight. It is something we have been doing since T was 7 months old and will continue to do until he is ready to potty independently.✨ Since we tend to be out and about much more in the cooler weather, we have been using our @oneproudtoddler folding potty seat as a continuation of our gentle approach to potty learning. Ryan and Jihyun kindly #gifted us this seat and did not ask us to share. We never share anything we don’t absolutely love and are so impressed with this seat for many reasons. One Proud Toddler is also a parent-owned business, so they know a thing or two about how to make our lives easier. Our favorite features include the locking mechanism which prevents pinching when being sat upon, no horrendous grooves on the bottom which could harbor nasties and make it difficult to clean and finally, the carry bag which is so lovely that I’ve ditched my diaper bag and taken to carrying it around like a clutch. 😎 Our potty learning journey began at 7 months, at about 13 months T started to show interest in the potty and has since sat down to use it a few times. We have no time limit as to when we want him to wean from diapers, we’re following him! There is no one right way to potty learn.
