I come bearing gifts!❄️ October’s episode of Afroelectronik on @cashmere_radio is up and last month’s show was an ode to my time spent in the incredible gem in the Indian Ocean, otherwise known as Reunión Island.🇷🇪 I looked back on my time spent there, the friends I made,the breathtaking nature, and of course the wonderful music culture that I experienced, in particular the local relationship with traditional Maloya music.🏝 To help me do justice to the islands I employed two very talented, very capable locals by the name of @boogzbrown and @danwayo.🦾@boogzbrown peppered my show with 3 musicals selections which sonically represent the island for him and @danwayo closed off the show with a Maloya infused guest mix!
