after college I took a trip to the caribbean with my bestie. it was the first time i've ever seen warm turquoise water. I cried when that trip ended. went back north, and it wasn't for another 10 years that I MOVED. 🥴😵‍💫 what changed? ➔ I didn't ask anyone for their opinion on what we should do. I didn't ask my friends, my mom, and so forth. not that I don't care about them, but because I didn't want to take advice from people that weren't living the kind of lifestyle I craved. I didn't need to be told why it wouldn't work. ➔ I worked on my limiting beliefs. the big ones were: "it's too late," "i'm too old now," and "it's too expensive." I realized that these were nothing more than bullshit. I would never utter those words to another human being, but yet here I was feeding myself that kinda toxicity. ➔ I found ways to earn online + invested in them. "$5k to earn high ticket commission?" ...heres my credit card." "build a personal brand around improving people's lifestyle + well-being that allows me to be creative + work outside the system?" ...sign me up!
