been way too much on my mind lately. it’s funny how people will give up on you constantly when you aren’t doing as much as you used to do because, well, life happens. it’s been getting to me lately but this morning i had a realization that people are fickle, and so are their intentions. no one in this world has unconditional love for anyone or anything except for god. i know who i am, i know my capabilities, and i know what i can do in this world. & when the time is right, as i become more intentional with what i do, i can’t wait to prove to myself what i can do. our passions aren’t to please others, it’s to be true to ourselves. so, in conclusion, i don’t mind the distance and weirdness. those things aren’t the things i need in my life in the first place. i’m grateful for those that actually see me past just playing music for them. real ones are extremely hard to come by. don’t get caught up in the smoke & mirrors. cherish those that cherish you, work at your own pace, do things that align with you, & your personal blessings will come.
