Here is how i fueled for 20 miles today!
• 3 e gels
• 1 mixed in water with 3 scoops of e fuel
•1 gel at 35 minutes
•1 gel at 75 minutes.
•gummy bears during the last 40 minutes
A long with sips of my liquid nutrition through out.
Roughly 75 carbs an hour.
Fueling is so important especially on these harder efforts or longer runs. During 100 miler training I'm running on tired legs A LOT. If i want to be able to get through my long run tomorrow I've gotta fuel well for my run today as well as post run i have to eat to help my body recover!
Back to back long runs are seriously my favorite but I do notice a huge difference with how i feel if i don't fuel properly the day before my second one.
