We've been very excited to share this one... introducing Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) coffee. We're honored to be one of only a couple roasters to have the first-ever ROC coffee, grown by the Sacacli Cooperative of Nicaragua. This coffee will be going into our Alentejo bag, as its dark chocolatey, nutty flavor is a perfect fit. // The Regenerative certification brings organic certification to a new, more comprehensive level, building on all that organic certification contains, and incorporating everything from soil health to animal welfare to worker equity. As if that's not enough to get us excited, farms that achieve ROC "Gold" status are effectively carbon negative — meaning that this certification (and buying products that have it) promise a path towards drawing down carbon emissions, mitigating and even reversing global warming. // Big thanks and congratulations to our partners @sustharv whose work has been foundational to this certification’s introduction to the coffee world.
