I make this on repeat for parties, holidays, or anytime I need an easy, crowd-pleasing dessert! 📌 Save this for later! 🍰 Full Recipe: 🥄 Cake: * 1 cup water * 1 cup salted butter * 2 cups all-purpose flour * 2 cups granulated sugar * 1 tsp baking soda * 1⁄4 tsp salt * 1⁄2 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt) * 2 large eggs * 1 1⁄2 tsp almond extract 🍶 Frosting: * 6 Tbsp milk * 1⁄2 cup salted butter * 3 3⁄4 cups powdered sugar * 1 tsp almond extract * Optional: Fresh berries for topping 👩‍🍳 How to Make It:
1️⃣ Whisk together dry ingredients.
2️⃣ Mix sour cream, eggs, & almond extract; add to dry mix.
3️⃣ Boil butter + water, then mix into batter.
4️⃣ Pour into 13x18” sheet pan & bake at 350°F for 17-20 min.
5️⃣ Make frosting: Boil milk + butter, then mix in powdered sugar + almond extract.
