On this day in 1996, the band's tenth studio LP, NEW ADVENTURES IN HI-FI, was released internationally (followed by the N. American release on Sept. 10). Led by single "E-Bow The Letter" (with guest vocals from @thisispattismith), New Adventures would reach the top of the charts in 16 countries. Last year the band celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Scott Litt-produced LP with a remastered reissue in a variety of formats (more at the link in bio).
