They were so kind to send me their products to try, and after a month of testing I’m back with my thoughts! 🧪PHA Resurfacing Glow Peel ($22.9 CAD, 50 ml) I’ve tried many chemical exfoliating products, but I’ve never tried something like this. The texture is COMPLETELY clear and gel-like, while containing 10% PHA (100,000 ppm) and 5 different fruit/veggie extracts such as Cucumber, Papaya, and Centella Asiatica. It has a clean, fresh scent that doesn’t make itself noticeable while on the skin and a super smooth application 💚 I thought this would dry like a regular face mask but within the suggested time frame of 10-15 it didn’t dry completely like a peel-off one (which typically tightens the face and dries like Saran Wrap). It felt like rinsing off a regular gel moisturizer that was a bit tacky, which was an interesting experience (but not surprising considering this product is water-based.) After using it, I love the way my skin feels fresh and clean after this without being stripped at all. I don’t use this too often, and I suggest using this once a week if you have sensitive skin. As always with any chemical skin care product, do a patch test first! That being said, this is still extremely gentle compared to some other exfoliants I’ve used before. ❄️Vita Frost Chilling Essence ($22 CAD, 50 ml) This is such a unique product! It’s formulated with vitamin E and ice capsules (have you ever heard of that before!?) that cool and revitalize your skin. I was actually quite sceptical about this, but I was literally blown away. Imagine walking outside during winter while chewing mint gum and you take a deep breath through your mouth. This serum is the equivalent of that experience, but for your face! It takes about 10 seconds for this cooling, tingly sensation to set in. This product, according to their website, helps cool down irritated heat-irritated skin. I’m not sure what heat-irritation they mean other than sunburn, but nonetheless I love using this the morning after a long night out...it really helps wake me up 😅 *PR, with obligations
