Congrats to #artsthread member & #globaldesigngraduateshow shortlisted Sasha Gartside Knudsen @saskjersti graduate 2022 @djcad_uod BA(Hons) in Fine Art - part of FUTUREPROOF 2022 12th November 2022 - 29th January 2023 at Street Level Photoworks @streetlevelphotoworks in Glasgow. 📸📸📸 Celebrating some of the incredible photographic work emerging from the BA Photography and Fine Art degrees shows of the colleges, universities, and art schools across Scotland with artists represented from courses in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Orkney, and Stirling ✨VIPASSANA✨ ‘Vipassana’ explores the artist’s esoteric journey after a 10-day silent meditation experience in the summer of 2019. The name of the project is the technique that was taught on the retreat, which is an ancient Buddhist method of meditation. The connectivity with the universe which the artist experienced has since led her to examine the psyche and the colourful epiphanies that she experienced, illustrating this feeling of a stream of light, energy and connectivity entering her body and life.
