Quality over quantity. ——————————————————————- I remember when I first started collecting plants, I wanted more more more! My plant shopping was all impulse and little planning. The more plant filled spaces I saw on the ‘gram, the more I tried to fill my space. Needless to say I lost a few (more than a few) in the process. I also learned a valuable lesson: collecting plants is not a race. Also, a collection does not need to be hundreds of plants. You can literally have a collection of 10 plants—its still a collection. There was a time when mine was bursting at the seams and it was just too much, plants were dying because I was completely overwhelmed and could not keep up with everyone’s care. I have since scaled back, and I am at a much more manageable number (still don’t know what it is because you know I don’t count).
