We are delighted to announce the War Inna Babylon: 2022-23 Public Lecture Series, launching this week with an event on Thursday 27 October. Over the course of this academic year Stafford and Kamara Scott, FA and @MA_Research_Architecture Guest Professors and co-founders of Tottenham Rights, will deliver a four-part lecture series examining state-designed attacks on Black communities, as well as responses and defences from those affected. Guest Professors Scott will utilise a multi-layered approach to examine the context of present-day manifestations of racism and conflict between Black communities and the state.

The lecture series is open to all members of the public, and will be accompanied by a series of workshops open to @goldsmithsuol students.
