Mesmerizing clouds over Oeschinensee in the Swiss Alps 🏔 Patience paid off on this hike, as it had thunder stormed on us the day prior. We ended up having to run off the mountainside as lightning strikes lit up ridgelines less than a few kilometers away. Definitely a bit scary. Thankfully round two treated us a bit kinder. And while we only had this view for a few minutes until the fog enveloped us again, I’d say it was worth it.
