Me on the other hand, I’ll be chasing them for the rest of my days 🌞🫶🏼✨ •Twin Lakes• If you’ve been dying to go to Cathedral Lakes and haven’t been able to snag a permit, head to Sequoia National Park for this trail instead. Twin Peaks towers over this lake and has a striking resemblance to the iconic Cathedral Peak! The whole time we were here I kept forgetting that I wasn’t in Yosemite. The lake is seriously a beautiful hidden gem nestled in Sequoia National Park and is much less sought after than the lakes trail in the park so it pretty much always available. Permits are available by walk up at 1pm the day prior to your trip start date! Each trail will have a different permit issuing station, this one will be obtained at the Giant Forest Museum.
