Last night was pretty momentous for me, for many reasons. Of course: that room, that city. But most of all, these people. The deep magic between the best crowd on earth, and those of us on stage - the whole thing felt like an enormous embrace. And I woke up today with new depths of gratitude. Brandi, you are a sister to me and I can’t put into words how much I love you, admire you, and want to be like (and around) you as much as possible. You’re a fucking rock, as well as a fucking rock star. The self-titled band, and Ketch, Sarah, Jerry, Mike and Alex - your musical generosity is bonkers. I can’t believe it’s real that we get to share a stage. And to Ben and Ted - for coming to continue showing the unrivalled love and support you’ve gifted me for this record - you’ve made it feel like we’re not apart, and to get to sing our songs together again for people was some deep, deep magic.
