We met two years ago and before that we built our individual lives into the things they were when we began to merge parts of them. I, comparatively circumspect and scholastic, have been a baker-artist hybrid and perpetual student of grain and food systems, amongst other even less articulable things. D, impetuous and energised, is a professional artist and more recently the founder of Sky High Farm, the nonprofit that we live beside in the Hudson Valley of New York.
