"An Ode to Ellie" - Ellie was a special dog, her and I shared a special bond and a connection as soon as we met. She was a spunky pup with so much energy, maybe too much for some, but I loved this little nut. She had the ability to make me laugh like no other. Even when she was climbing the counters and eating full sticks of butter 😂 (don't worry she didn't eat the wrapper, just licked it clean, she's a lady) Ellie came to me at a time when I knew she needed me, but I had no idea how much I was going to end up needing her. Ellie has been my one constant, my rock, my shoulder to cry on. She has been right beside me through some of the very best, but also the absolute worst days of my life. The amount of tears Ellie has licked off my face, only she knows. Breakups, the loss of dear friends... We even made it through Covid lockdowns together... what a time! She loved those days, and having her with me made them so much more bearable. I don't know what I would have done without her. Ellie was so much more than a dog to me... she was my best friend, my sidekick, my security blanket, my partner in crime, my personal joker, my assistant manager. The eater of my pizza crusts. Ellie has been the love of my life, my everything. They say everyone/everything comes into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. Ellie has been every single one of those for me. She was the reason I started my business, I wouldn't be where I am today if I never met this little lady. 10 years worth of seasons and lessons we have shared and learned from together. And the love I have for her will last a lifetime. I'll never love another being the way I've loved this dog... thank you for choosing me Ellie, I'll always be your Mommy.
