We were not afraid to admit when we didn't know something and needed help. Help with anything! Why did we change? Why did we let fear in? How did we turn it around? We need to stop pretending to be strong and that we got it all alone. We can lie to ourselves over and over again and play our tricks to make-believe our falsehoods. Eventually, they will start working less and less, and we will crumble. When our knees hit the floor, we cry and pray. The moment we crash and realize that we are nothing is the moment when the true freedom of our lives starts again. Knowing that someone or something is out there who knows more, sees better, and loves deeper than us, gives us the joy of our childhood back.
