It makes me feel comforted to know that when I go back there into my kitchen, I can get something to eat.” We are honored to connect Cook County veterans with groceries, food resources, benefits and more. So far this year, approximately 106,000 nutritious meals have been distributed at no cost to veterans at the Hines VA food pantry alone.
