My Proving Grounds finals run 🎢 It’s actually surreal to have been able to compete here. All summer I thought I’d just go and watch the event, but my knee felt good enough that I lined up at the start! I came here feeling fortunate enough to be on a bike and so I came for a good time keeping in mind that I had a long way to recover still to set me up for a strong 2023 season. I’m definitely tired of dragging the injury and I know I’ll soon be able to give it the time it needs to heal and move on. I had two very loud voices in my head that conflicted each other 😇<—>😈 haha! One that was so grateful and happy enough to do fun T to B’s all week and go home healthy. And the other that was so hungry for the larger features and tricks and teased me real bad with it. But in the end I knew I’d be happy with my decision to keep it safe this year. I was pumped on my run. Everything went smooth and I kept it boogie 💃 4th place in the end is just a cherry on top! 🥳 The level was unreal!!! Freeride is on fire right now! Watching the boys that had to qualify even was insane, seeing the huge pool of talent that’s out there. I’m gutted for the ladies that went down this week. We had an incredible crew and I’m excited to see T to B’s from all of us in the future! Congrats to our hero @caminogueiraa on her second Proving Grounds win!!! 🏆🏆 Your fire is something else girl 🫶🏼 I haven’t posted much lately due to not being able to ride all that much, trying to recover my knee.
