I’m finally American! 🎊🇺🇸🍾I’m feeling a sense of belonging and freedom after 26 years of uncertainty. It’s trippy, I was buzzing like the hummingbird I saw while I waited to be sworn in. I choked up as the weight of unworthiness lifted while I stood in the sun taking my oath of citizenship. When I walked back to my car, I was confronted with powerful art that asked tough questions and it reminded me of the power of expression. Excited for this new chapter and all its possibilities ❤️🥹🙏🏾
