I felt deeply moved when Pet Shop Boys put up the Ukranian colors on their stage LED screen for what felt like a full ten minutes prior to their concert at Madison Square Garden in New York two and half weeks ago. New Order had finished their concert in this double A bill show. Paul Oakenfold covered the time for the new stage set up. We had just been through emotions and recalled times close to us and we were in joyful anticipation of the PSB concert. And then suddenly there was this stark reminder, that millions of Ukrainians tonight fear losing their freedom of speech and self determination or even their lives altogether. The gesture of the flag and solidarity with Ukraine was so powerful. The following PSB concert was a celebration of self expression, humor, life, love and tragedy. The concert was the best Pet concert I've seen and it was alive and kicking. Perfect art of pop. Tonight the Unity Tour with New Order of the US and Canada ends in Vancouver.
